There is a sticker on the green paper that list gentleman's name, Location, as well as the words: trunks, bags & harness. He appears to be a jack of all trades. He had ads for auto repair and bicycles. He passed I believe in 1920. Your work is an inspiration.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24650459368979597.post-12927953013977847582023-05-13T02:57:06.518-04:002023-05-13T02:57:06.518-04:00Mine is in almost perfect condition, opens 3 layers...Mine is in almost perfect condition, opens 3 layers. The handles on my trunk (which is absolutely identical to this trunk) will go on after finishing the outside and before papering the inside. Will make try out of cedar closet lining.Willardnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24650459368979597.post-89942252813957218712015-11-18T20:38:11.143-05:002015-11-18T20:38:11.143-05:00I have a similar trunk with the leather handles mi...I have a similar trunk with the leather handles missing as well how do you attach the new handle do you rivet it or do you have another way of attaching them?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09843927494493310751noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24650459368979597.post-4820111461507265382014-05-13T01:12:25.558-04:002014-05-13T01:12:25.558-04:00Amazing work! They're completely broken on the trunk I have and I have no idea how to do anything about it. Any tips are appreciated!Riddlefishhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12278918231888908829noreply@blogger.com
