The table pictured in this post is for sale. It is a candle stand dating to around 1850. The two board top is made of Poplar and the legs and turned pedestal base are black Walnut. The use of Poplar points towards southern manufacture. This table was most likely made by a cabinet maker in the country.The table is in good condition over all, but could use a new finish and has a break in one of the legs that requires repair.
