Canterbury (ca. 1940)

The Canterbury was a piece of furniture which came into existence in the 19th century. The original purpose for the canterbury was to hold sheet music. Most people use them these days as storage for magazines. This particular canterbury was built sometime between the 1920's and 1940's. It's main problem was that it had fallen apart. In addition, the finish needed a little help. Below are some photos that went into the piece.
